Service Agreement

  • Client has been provided a list of services.
  • Northbay Housecleaning, (NBHC), requires payment at the time of service.
  • Charged time will start when the team arrives and starts to unload their equipment and the time ends when they leave the home.
  • We reserve the right to make the judgment if more than two team members are required.
  • Any cancellations and/or reschedule requests must be received before 2:00 pm the business day prior to your scheduled service day.
  • Any changes or special instructions must be emailed or called into the office the business day prior to the scheduled cleaning.
  • NBHC reserves the right to reevaluate rates and revise estimates provided at any time.
  • NBHC makes every effort to not break items however accidents do happen. Identical replacement is always attempted but not guaranteed. For this specific reason, we request all irreplaceable items not be cleaned by our crew members.
  • NBHC must be notified within 48 hours of service if damage is discovered.
  • NBHC reserves the right to change and/or modify the Service Agreement.
  • Client can request a copy of updated Service Agreement at any time by calling or emailing our office.
  • If client is not satisfied with our services, NBHC must be notified within 24 hours of service.
  • If client needs to change a cleaning day or time, we will try to be flexible.
  • NBHC reserves the right to cancel a service appointment due to unforeseen events.
  • If property is in extreme condition and the job cannot be completed in one day, the job will be finished the following day. (Client will be notified if this were to become necessary.)
  • NBHC is not responsible for damages caused due to special instructions/procedures required by client such as excessive mopping of wood floors, wiping walls, woodwork with chemicals, scrubbing stone work, etc.
  • Although NBHC takes caution when using any cleaning products, NBHC is not responsible for damages caused by cleaning products or equipment provided by the client.
  • NBHC will not be held accountable for damages caused by faulty equipment/appliances owned by the client.
  • NBHC is not responsible for damage due to faulty and/or improper installation of any items such as light fixtures. All surfaces (unsealed marble, granite, etc.) are assumed sealed and ready to clean without causing harm.
  • If we are specifically requested to clean/dust inside a china cabinet/hutch or dust any computer equipment, client agrees not to hold NBHC or any of its employees responsible for damages to any article or component.
  • Safety is an important matter. Therefore, all firearms in a client’s home must be stored and locked.
  • If a team works six or more consecutive hours, the law requires them to take a 30 minute break.
  • NBHC does not guarantee the removal of stains such as, rust, mildew or others caused by hard water build-up or lack of maintenance.
  • In order for a self cleaning oven to be wiped out, the self-cleaning option must be run at least 24-hours prior to the cleaning and must be 100% cooled down before NBHC will wipe it out.
  • Fireplaces must be unused for 72 hours prior to cleaning
